who makes the best intake? as in no codes, best performance, easy install, reusible, let me know what your opinion is before i spend my money. thanks in advance
I've got the AFE Pro-Guard 7 air intake.... and I'm very happy with it. The fit and finish is great.... its filtering capability is second to none (proved with oil sampling).... and I'm averaging about a mile more per gallon. No check engine lights (knock on wood).

Installed a AFE with a Pro Guard 7 a few months ago. Check engine light came on after a regen cycle. Got the Torque Booster tube (suppose to correct the check engine code). Same deal, after a regen cycle light comes on. Still pondering the thought of going back to stock. With an added Edge Evolution I'm able to clear the code moments after it comes on.
Save your money, don't get a AFE without something to check and clear the codes.
DSTRBD: Have there been no codes with the S&B. Doesn't that come with the booster tube?

Can you beat the ebay price of $269 delivered?
I have only read 1 case of a CEL with the S&B intake. And trust me, I have researched. It will be the intake that I go with. And yes, it comes with the "booster" tube.
Banks Twin-Turbo | Banks Power: Twin-Turbo Products I seen on Xtreme Diesel they are now a supplier of Banks, and they are offering exhausts. Now on the Banks page, no thing yet available, so Xtreme must have the pre-release part numbers.
