I have not personally ran one, but we have good reports from customers on them.

It might perform well but all your going to do is fill your DPF faster than normal. Which in turn will lower your fuel economy.

Love mine...runs hard in both "Performance" and "Extreme" settings. I do go into regen a little more often when in Extreme and hot-rodding around alot. But mostly drive it in Performance mode and drives the way they should from the factory. I also love being able to monitor all the trucks readings. I can also see when the truck goes into passive regen mode. Definetely recommend it.

It's not actually "turbo lag", it's more like "emissions lag". Ford has these things tuned to purposely lag in the attempt to lower the amount of soot building up in the DPF. I hate it and find it to be a hazard, several times I've pulled out in traffic only to be met with a nice little lag scaring the crapola out of me. It's going to cause a bad wreck for someone one day and will probably result in a lawsuit.

And that's from me driving my father's 6.4l on ocasion, I personally drive a 7.3l. I love the new 6.4s but I would have slapped a tuner on it a long time ago, that lag is just awful.
