If you wait one day, the Edge J/A will be 10% off and have another $75 mail in rebate. I dont know if this made it an easier decision or not.......

Good debate. These seem to be the two top units that are fair priced, well known reputations yet keep keep your warranty in mind.

I hope we see some real numbers come in from real world users. More and more I like the price and ability of the EDGE.

I own the banks and have no complaints. Its easy to hook up and gives you a good increase in power and i dont feel like im destroying my truck. Also it seems to take it easy on my dpf as regens are the same as stock from what i can tell. The dpf is your biggest obsticle with this truck. Choose wisely.

And don't let anyone full you. None of the tuners are authorized by the Manufacturer, so they will void your warranty if the Manufacturer feels like voiding it.

I would personally go with the Banks unit. The regens seem to be the same if not less. They have really done a good job keeping their tunes clean. With the Edge unit, regens are more frequent if you run the higher programs. I do not have a single dissatisfied Edge J/A customer though, everyone seems to love them.

or you could go with superchips...i liked my 1808. Power was awesome, regens were unchanged and fuel mileage was slightly better about 2mpg on highway, but I have recently moved to sct...to take it to the next level.

I am confused on why Banks. You advertise the Edge as coming with a DPF pipe. Does the Edge stop the regen cycle for off road use? If not then why include it with the tuner. No DPF but no program to support makes even less sense. I was sold on the Edge until now. Could you explain the Edge in better detail? The info on the Banks is well advertised. Thanks!

He never said "No DPF" - the Edge still keeps the DPF but because of Edge's tuning, it makes more soot and causes the truck to go into Regen more often. Banks went out of their way to keep the tunes as clean as possible... that's all.

The Edge Evolution RACE has the ability to delete the DPF. The Edge Juice with Attitude monitor does not which is the unit we are talking about here. Two totally different systems.
