I have only had mine on for a couple of weeks but I haven't had any problems of any sort. My mileage has increased to 16 around town, and about 19-20 on the highway running 80. I am very satisfied.

I have had the Evolution since February and I can’t say enough good stuff about it. I am getting about 2 more MPG in setting 2 and a little better than that in setting 1. I have towed my 5r multiple times and I really like the ability to monitor all the different parameters. I still haven’t used setting 4 yet but 1 thru 3 give a noticeable difference in power performance and mileage.
Can you install a delete pipe with the Edge Evolution?
I is possible. You simply have to get Edge to update the firmware providing the option for "dpf delete" (no regens). A friend of mine has done this and it works great. I believe the cost was another $300 to Edge.
Seems like everyone is pretty happy with the evolution. I have been doing research on tuners and have not made up my mind yet. I'm kinda leaning torwards the Banks six gun, but have been also looking at the evolution. Does anyone know advantages/disadvantages of one over the other?
Also can you change the power setting on the fly like the Six-gun?
i ran my evo in my 2008 with no problems what so ever the power was amazing. I would recommend it for sure to anyone. But i do have one question, can take that same evolution and update it with the latest software and plug into my 2010. I was just wondering if it would work in my new truck, because if it doesn't then i guess i have to sell it haha.

I sure would like to hear from the Edge "race" owners as to MPG and power..............
I have the Edge Race installed on my truck for about a month, 08 F-350 crew cab, 6'' lift, 35'' tires. It made the truck feel like a little sports car. Before I put it on, I was around 14mpg. Now I get about 16mpg on setting 4. I don't have anything else on the truck yet, but I do want to put a 5'' exhaust.
The Edge has been on my truck since new. I have 35K now. Not one issue. It regens around 400-500 miles not towing and around 200 towing. I run it in level 3 95% of the time. It really seems to get the best mileage on that setting. As with most..if not all the overhead on board mileage calculator goes to crap when you install a "chip". The higher the setting the more it is off. My truck averages an HONEST hand calculated 17.5mpg running down the highway at 70-75 with very little wind. A 10-15mph headwind drops it to the mid 16's and a tailwind will raise it to around 18. I am on the highway every week for over 1K miles and have averaged every tank by hand since new. I also run a fuel additive which seems to add a few tenths.

Great info. Thanks so much. I had my truck sort of hickup during start the other day which took away power from the edge. It was blank and worried me while the truck was running so I called them. Turns out the truck just took too much power during start and caused issue. Still not sure why...Anyway....I asked the Edge guy about fuel economy. He told me as most have posted to run in a higher setting if I have good driving habits. I told him I baby the throttle. He said to run in 2 or 3. I put it in 2 and have 1/2 tank run through so far. I bet the est mpg that the truck indicates is off as you mention. It says 15.6 now. I hope to see an improvement next time I fill up. Stock I would get about 11.9 to 12.5 actual hand calculated mileage. My goal is to get 15mpg.
My truck also hit regen mode last night for about 8-10 miles. EGT got pretty hot, about 1100-1200 degress for the entire time. I guess that is normal right?
Its been a few months with the "Edge Race" and Flo-Pro installed and the fuel mileage is impressive. Without "regens" I have seen a solid 2-4 mile increase. This programmer and pipe is worth it just for the economy. I run setting 4 except when towing. Towing our hauler used to cause worse than 7 mpg. Now I see at least 10. It may not produce Spartan numbers but this "race" tuner is more than worth the investment.
