Just wondering what is the difference between the juice and the evolution? The Evolution is cheaper and produces more power. Are these the same type of programers. I am not interested in hearing about warrenty issues with chips, just about the edge products.
The J/A is a modified 10 mod. It changes the pressure of the HP oil system. It also has a shifting full power defueling setting and a high exhaust temp defueling setting. On my 7.3, there is a true 75 hp increase. Also has an exhaust temp gauge and boost gauge.
You will need gauges with the EVO. It is a program and because it tinkers with the program of the engine, it can advance the injection timing, amount of fuel and who knows what else they change. Because of the number of things it can change, it will produce more power.
My personal feeling is that you will like the J/A with the safety of the defueling settings if you are looking for a modest power increase. Drag racing, go with the EVO.

The Evo is a programmer and the Juice/Att is a harness style box. The Evo reprograms the computer, the Juice/Att changes the signal. The Evo has more power, but does not come with all the fancy features the Juice/Att does.

Isn't that what I said?

Well, you said it changes the pressure of the HP oil system. While that is true on the 7.3L and 6.0L (HEUI) , the 6.4L (common rail) is a completely different fuel system.
The Evolution comes with gauges too. It displays EGT, etc. But what I don't understand is why doesn't it offer some of things I consider safety issues like:
• Automatic defueling to prevent excessive EGT, boost and transmission slip
• Cold engine protection
• Turbo cool down
• User-adjustable audible alert settings
• Low end responsive adjust
• Shift defuel setting
