Other than not having all the sensors, mine will not reboot after turning the truck off (and exiting the truck) after about 5-10 minutes. I have to unplug and replug the ODBII cable. If I stay in the truck and not defeat the accessory delay, it will reboot without problem. I called Edge and they sent me a new unit and cable, but the problem is still there... of course by the time I got home, they were closed so I couldn't call them again... I have emailed them. Since my truck is new (as in build date of 3/9), I assume the batteries are ok (since none of the other things that require 12V aren't losing their settings over nite much less than in 10 minutes) and the one problem I saw reported about weak batteries the Insight rebooted on its on after a few minutes of running the truck. I have gone as long as 45 minutes and it would not reboot until I unplugged and replugged the ODBII cable... real pain in the a$$. I have searched the net and can't find anyone else having this particular problem... everyone is having sensor reading problems that eventually gets sorted out with software, but this one seems unique to my truck...

Got my reply from Edge on the above problem.. The Insight is not compatible with '09 F450s as they have not tested it on that model and rarely test on anything larger than 1 tons.. suggested that I return it to where I bought it... only problem (and this is my bad) I ordered one for an '08 F350 since they didn't list the F450.. good reason it wasn't listed huh?... well, I will keep it as it does monitor what I need to monitor when I am towing - EGT (and a few other things)... Edge said they are coming out with another product in late summer that would work.. we'll see if I will spring for another or not...

That or they will "test" it on a 450 and come up with a fix... right now I feel the non-compatibility issue (although their website says it will work with 2003+ Powerstrokes and doesn't mention model) is one of not knowing how to solve the problem... that's ok... it works when I need it to doing what I want it to...

Had Edge load the above setup to my Fusion and now everything that I want is working... still have to plug and unplug to reboot..but I will put up with that to get the sensors to read... I am removing it from the truck when I leave it unattended to not temp the thieves anyway...

Received my Insight today - mfg 4/8/2009. It did not recognize the trans temp out of the box. I did hook it up to the Fusion program and it downloaded the latest software. At the end of the update - it stated that the ford trans temp problem was fixed in this update. In other words, I did not have to call support.

This thing is incredible - I have used a scanguage II for about a year with a couple of my vehicles - no comparison. The Insight is certainly worth the double cost!

difuser for the great service and overnight delivery!

My Insight beeps when the regen starts. If I press "enter" its stops beeping.

Does that cancel the regen?

No, it only makes the beep go away... if you hit enter again, the flashing and beeping will come back... look at you DIC and you should still see "Cleaning Exhaust Filter" (or something like that).
