I copied your post from the other forum and also sent it to EDGE. Lets see if we both get the same answer!

Guy on another site just replied that he has the Insight and an Autometer pyro, and they are reading about 40 degrees apart. Close enough for me.

I have monitoring a few other forums...a guy has just reported in...that has both an Insight and a Autometer ( conventional gauge) installed. INSIGHT reads 40 degrees lower than Autometer...all the way thru the range. He feels INSIGHT may be closer to correct. In any event..40 degrees is close enough for me!!!

Yes , the insight in my unit is within 40 degrees of me autmeter gauge. Insight is lower throughout the range. Very happy with the insight. Can monitor anything I want.

So do I conclude that EGT's go up when the regen hits? I only noticed a regen 1 time last year...while going up a steep hill..seemed like boost was limited to about 20 ish lbs...and my speed dropped a little..so I assumed it was in Regen...I just kept going..just a little slower! Any other regens either happened at idle..the high idle etc.... or at speed where I didn't notice it. Hw much did you have to back off to get egt's back under 1200 degrees?

You read it right. No need for the extra probe. Just select Ford settings and you'll have what you want.

I have one coming as well. Appears that the EGRT ( exhaust gas recirculation sensor) is the one that is mounted pre-turbo and will actually give pre-turbo egt readings. Will know in a few days..but I believe others have discovered this to be true.

I just got mine installed and it has the EGT,Boost,Trans and ECT on the display. I can find the other sensors that were mentioned earlier. I went for a ride and the egts went as high as 1000 and thats it. Any other info on this thing would be cool. The book is VERY vague.
