Edge juice question

I was reading about the Juice and it mentions a turbo timer feature. Can someone tell me how it works? Does it shut down the truck after so much time has passed?

Thanks,

Sawtooth,

I have the Edge Juice on my 08 but have not turned on the turbo timer. However, it works off of either EGTs or a set time. You can go into the Attitude monitor and set the EGT to something like 350 degrees (or whatever you want to set it at) and your truck will not shut off until the temp drops below the set temp. You can also specify a time period such as 1 minute or so. I hope this is what you are looking for. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks for the info. So do you turn the key off and pull it when you leave the truck? Also, does the juice help with the turbo lag from a stand still?

thanks,

It is my understanding that when you get to your destination you turn the ignition switch off and remove the key like you always do but the engine remains running until it reaches the preset time/EGT. I have noticed a slight decrease in turbo lag. There is still some lag if you try to floor it from a dead stop but if you gradually roll into the throttle it takes off nicely.

Do you have to drill in the EGT Probe for the Juice to display EGT's or does it read it anywhere else?

No you do not have to drill. There are 4 EGT sensors on the truck already. The Juice knows which one to read for pre turbo.

I have a Juice W/att forsale for the 08 if anyone is interested
