You should feel even more comfortable because they are laying it on the line, no b.s. They said, Yes, a non Ford programmer can be detected. Just because grampy may have never had a truck come in that was Spartan tuned, or this particular code doesn't mean it doesn't exist. You are obviously wise enough to check out Spartans website, and hopefully the forums to see that their product is top notch. You can also go to the ORG or the Garage to get even more feedback.
I'm not saying Spartan knows more than Grampy or vice versa. I do know Spartan has "somehow" already gotten their hands on a 6.7L before the debut, who do you think has friends in higher places......

I'm not trying to say negative things about spartan. I just try and question what is said by aftermarket companies. I feel like we need to ask these kinds of questions and be wary before we make relatively large purchases and stick these things into our expensive trucks. I try and make informed decisions. And I feel more comfortable when I get opinions outside the company's website.
