Got my banks moster duals installed today.

I love the kit, the fitment is good, and it doesn't have the "whoosing" sound that my flo~pro did under light throttle. Now, I do have one complaint. Banks, because i know you read this forum, is there any need for the exhaust pipe to protrude that far into the tip? Its hideous...

(ignore the housing development I am in. I am moving back to washington this weekend and am staying with a friend in navy housing.

I like the look. I should have gone with the duals.

I have the same kit and love it. The fitment was perfect, and looks great but I had the same comment about having the actual exhaust pipe so far into the tip. Other than that its great.

They do that with the pipe inside the tip to prevent tip discoloration from the extreme heat they see during regeneration.

Looks good. Did you have them done or do it yourself? I love the look of the duals on my truck, very clean look from the side and behind.

did you get to keep your spare tire up under the truck, and is it the stock spare or is it a 37 inch spare like you have on your truck. Just wondering about fitment and clearance with the spare.

Mines the stock spare if that helps. Supposedly, there's not enough room for the larger spare. One day I'm gonna have to check for myself.

Fitment is pretty tight even with the stock spare, a 37" would definitely not fit.

There is a guy (MSTR-P) on the TDG that has 37x13.50 tires/wheels. He mounted his spare in the stock location. It fit... but just barely. Some of his photos look just under finger-width clearance.

He had stock exhaust though. No duals.
