Hooked up the Juice/Attitude on the 6.4 today...

Hey everyone,

I ordered the Juice/Attitude on Friday evening from Dieselsite.com and received it on Monday morning at 9am. This morning we installed it and the install went fairly easy. It took about 45 minutes to install and was fairly straight forward. I've had a Juice/attitude on a duramax and it was about the same install except that I did not have to drill/tap for an exhaust pyro. I put the juice on level 3 and drove around town to do some errands and it definitely wakes the truck up. EGT's are still fairly low and boost pressures are up quite a bit from stock. Overall I think it's gonna be a great setup for me. Most of my driving is without a trailer but I am going to haul a 20' bassboat a few times a month. If weather cooperates this weekend I'll hopefully get a chance to get out on the water. Just thought I'ld post up that I'm one pretty satisfied customer so far.

I won't know until I fill up. I've only put about 150 miles on it so far.

To me it feels as if it did. I don't have a way to say for sure but to me the whole truck just runs better. The engine seems to run a little smoother/quieter as well.

Thank you for the info Lee. I was told that if you can some how firm up the trani, It would last longer. I guess a firm shift is better than when it slips into gear. Please keep us in the loop!!!!

Lee, did you find that Dieselsite.com had the best price? That's the cheapest I've seen it. I'd also be interested to hear your fuel mileage results. Also, are your running stock tires? I'm curious if the juice's tire calibration function works well.

Yeah I bought it on Dieselsite. I ordered on friday evening and Monday morning it was here in the office. I'm running stock tires for now and am looking at some mt's but will probably wait a while to change them out. I don't know about the mileage yet. I'm running about a tank and a half to two tanks a week so I'll probably fill up today or tomorrow and should know something after a few days.

Lee, I am new to Edge products. If you didn't have to tap your manifold for the EGT probe, how does it read temps?

I am looking into getting the BullyDog PMT but still researching.

It uses a sensor already on the truck to get the EGT's. That was one of the biggest reasons I purchased the edge again. I loved their product on a previous truck and liked the idea that I didn't have to drill/tap the manifold.

Gotcha. I just found out that the Bully Dog PMT works similar.

Thanks for the education!

How accurate do you think the egt readings are? Big debate going on on where sensors are located and whether readings are " close enough " to pre-turbo readings to be useful.
