THIS explains best where the wires are and color codes.
I wired up the BCP (Battery Chage Protect)circuit on mine. Just connect one of your upfitter switches to the BCP circuit wire. Place the truck in Park, set the parking brake, turn on the switch and she should idle up.

How high of an idle do you get when the BCP is ingaged? My only gets up to around 900 rpm.

I just wired up the AUX4 switch to the battery charge protection circuit this morning. According to Ford, engine speed is set to 1200 RPM regardless of the degree of battery charge. After 1200 RPM, BCP regulates engine speed based upon the degree of battery charge, up to 2400 RPM max.
Of course, I've only seen 1200 RPM on mine as I haven't had heavy electrical loads on the system. I bet if my supplemental heat was running on a cold morning or I had the jumper cables attached to start a dead vehicle, I'm sure the RPM's would climb.

Mine will only go up to around 900 rpm. I've got duel alts. on mine. Wonder if that has anything to do with it.

I have the BCP hooked up to the AUX4 switch and if I flip the switch on right after I start the truck the RPMs will go up to 1200, once the truck runs for a while and recharges the battery's the RPMs hold at 900.
Same as above, BCP, 1200 only on initial start (because of the electrical draw of glow plugs and to recharge the battery from starting I assume). 900 after that, & when warmed up or started warm. Dual alts for me as well.
Hi guys im very intrested in this mod and have a 2009 with the 6 speed standard just wondering if it will work on that as well. Thanks

I can't say for sure but I would think that it would since there are safety parameters that have to be engaged in order to use it.
1.) The truck must be stationary (in Park).
2.) The parking brake must be applied.
I would think that with a manual transmission, it would use the neutral safety switch as the parameter for park. Then again, I really don't have any idea. Just guessing.
