I am going to get an Insight to go with my SCT tuner. I like the OEM look of the mount and it will give me all the info I want/need.

i was gonna get an insight til i read someone who had one on his 6.0 plugged it into his 6.4 and it didnt work the same...after each engine start he had to unplug it and plug it back in...he called the maker and they didnt know why...someone else said they experienced the same thing...i would still get one if it didnt have that quirk.

The insight is ALOT cheaper than the DashDaq. Ive had it on my truck for 60,000 miles and works flawlessly.

From my experience and in talking with Edge... I agree with "first ford"... the problem has been limited to 2009s (and maybe next MY if Edge doesn't fix it as they seem to have no intention of doing so for the '09s)

09 or newer - definitely go with DashDaq. Edge doesn't seem interested in fixing the "dead on restart" issue. 08, I would probably still go with DashDaq but that's because I'm still po-ed at Edge Honestly, I think the only difference is looks....so if money is an issue, then Insight would probably be ok (but I think the DashDaq looks way better).

There have also been others that have modified the edge dash pod to fit the Dash Daq to give a built in look.

I have a insight I will sell you that I bought in March if you want. I purchased the Spartan setup which came with the dashdaq so I no longer need the insight. Shoot me a pm if you are interested.

Well, if you want to compare them, ok.
Here's the actual (to scale) comparison between Banks iQ and the dashdaq. The screen is much larger, and there's almost no wasted space allowing the displayed parameters to be much larger and much eaiser to read. And the housing is only 1/2 inch larger overall.

As far as displayable parameters go it will show you everything the main ECM has available. If you want to see what the screens look like you can click here: Introducing the Banks iQ Dashboard PC display system
