Juice/Attitude over the Evolution

Ok... maybe someone can explain to me why you would buy the Juice/Attitude over the Evolution?

The Juice/Attitude adds up to 70 horsepower & 150 ft. lbs. of torque.
The Evolution adds up to 100 horsepower & 200 ft. lbs. or torque.

The Juice/Attitude has to be plugged into several different locations under the hood.... and you have to run a wire through the firewall.... time consuming
The Evolution is simple plug and play into the OBDII port.

The Juice/Attitude is $764.10
The Evolution is $479.20 - $285 cheaper.....

They both offer guages on the monitor

The only difference I really see is that the Juice/Attitude offers a turbo timer.
And I'm not sure yet... but it says the Juice/Attitude will recalibrate your gauges for bigger tires.... the evolutions says it will read your true speed on the monitor.... not sure if it will recalibrate your guages on the truck (gonna call about this on monday)

So..... Why would someone buy the Juice/Attitude instead of the Evolution?

RROSE;

No the Juice cant recalbrate your gauges, it does read true mph read out on the Attitude monitor

You dont have to run the wire through the firewall, you can fit it through the fender then in.

The Juice does not reflash your ecm, making it really hard to detect, some claim it cant be detected.

The turbo timer is a good feature.

The evolution will be quik & simple to use, same basic gauges.

hey rrose im having the same problem deciding which one to go with. However i drive a 99 powerstroke but im going through the same process of deciding. yes the evolution is easier to install and get a little more power and is cheaper, the only thing holding me back from getting it is that you need to shut off the truck to switch modes. With the juice you can do it while driving. I dont want to have to shut off my truck and wait 20 seconds for the evolution to reprogram the mode. Its a tough decision....

I left my juice/attitude installed on my truck the last time I took it to the dealership to resolve a minor warrantee issue. I asked the tech to see what he could detect with his scan tool. He could detect nothing. Surprised both me and him.

So what is your overall impression with the Juice so far? I have it installed on my 08 F-450 KR and have been less than impressed so far. I really can detect no discernible differences in the settings? My truck seems to run exactly the same whether I'm in stock mode or extreme mode?? I have also been extremely disappointed in not have a speed limiter removal!! And finally, mine flashes red all the time telling me I'm in "regen" mode?? What have you set your settings on? Like your EGR temp setting? Etc?

So far I really like the juice/attitude. The main reason I got it was for turbo timer, pyro, and to know when it was in regen. I have the egt limit at 1350 but can exceed that limit easily stock when I am loaded. I run on level 2 and back out of the trottle before reaching 1350. My truck seems to go into regen about once per tank of fuel. I am wanting to delete my cat and dpf (that would surely lower egts) and keep the juice/attitude but have not found a programmer to do that yet. Does anybody know of one?
