I also suggest the S&B intake over the AFE as AFE has had quite a few code issues with their current setup. You can see both on our site. Let me know if you have any questions.
Do you know if the Magnaflow 4" & 5" kits will work with a B&W turn over ball hitch? I ask because I had to lower the stock exhaust with the supplied B&W brackets in order to clear the B&W center section of the hitch.

Thanks,
Gerry

I won't sell modules anymore. That kinda restricts what edge products I sell but, the modules just aren't reliable. Downloaders are safer and ALOT more reliable in the long run. MagnaFlow is my most popular kits for the 6.4L and they self install like a glove. Unless your above the Mason-Dixon in January (BRRRRR) they bolt on pretty quick. I recommend that they be installed by an exhaust shop only because I prefer them welded instead of clamped.

How about this, the Magnaflow wont leave a foot print like the programmers. Sooo, I'm going with the Magnaflow, clamped on, so if I have a problem and have to take it to the dealer, I put the original back on. LOL

Sounds like alot of work and it would only work if you didn't have to tow it in from the HWY.

I might try it though.

I was asking the question because the Ford dealer where I bought my truck sells them and also gave me a price on one. They want WAAAAY to much for the install but that parts weren't too bad. I was told by the dealer the kit wouldn't void my warranty because you are allowed to modify the exhaust from the DPF back and it you do the tip (or close to it) must have a vented pipe or pipes to help lower the outcoming exhaust gas temps.

This dealer sells all kinds of aftermarket parts for all of Ford products. They currently have a lifter or what looks to be lifed F450 running 22.5 rims and tires. The rim and tire packed is an extra $8,600...... ouch!!!!

How does a Magnaflow sound on a 6.4... Good(I can't imagine)? Does it whistle at folks like a 6.0?

I sure miss the sound of my 7.3 with a turbo back Magnaflow, that was hot!

jerseymike68- Next time give us a holler man, I could have saved you quite a bit of money.

7.3- Sound and performance is not changed much as the real restrictions lie in the DPF and DOC.
