New Owner Has Upgrade Questions

Hey Guys!
Bought a new '08 F350 Crew Cab today at a smokin' price.
Has the 6.4 engine with auto trans, PTO option & tow command.
If anyone could give me a few recommendations, I'd appreciate it.
A bit about how I use the truck...I own a small lawn landscape biz.
I'm having a dump bed installed and I haul mulch.
When I'm not loaded down with mulch, I'm pulling a 16' trailer loaded with mowers, weedeaters & blowers.

Would like to find out some upgrades that would fit my useage.

I'm not looking for huge HP gains. As you can see I'm more interested in torque.

Can some of you lead me to some upgrades for my motor & transmission?

Thanks in advance!

I'd strongly advise against modifications until you've seen for yourself that your mileage will improve over time. I bought my truck brand new and got a paltry 12 MPG. Today, 7600 miles later, I'm getting 15-17 MPG. Granted, all unladen, but still... the point is: bone stock no modifications.

Those modifications have an insane cost, to say nothing of the fact that you're potentially voiding the warranty. If you don't care about warranty, then at least look at the cost-per-mile increase that you may not be able to realize within a reasonable amount of time.

Most of the products out there are designed to give you more power. More power means more gas. Upgrades are sort of mutually exclusive of fuel efficiency. If Ford had a way to give you better mileage, I'm sure they would have from the factory.
