Some questions you all have seen before...

Ok so Im the new guy here
New guy in San Diego

And heres my questions...
Ive been talking to a few vendors and reading everything here for a little while. I am going to run the spartan for sure. My thoughts are a 5 inch exhaust and either a "REMOVED DUE TO RULES VIOLATION". Thoughts and opinions not only welcome they are appreciated!

Also I spoke to a tech and he mentioned that Ford can scan and see how many times your truck has regened so if you "REMOVED DUE TO RULES VIOLATION" and tune it they know it hasnt gone through the cycles enough...is this true and how do you get around it?

I am also planning a 8 inch lift and 37x13.50x24. Anyone have a prefered lift and why? I was thinking the Rize kit currently.

Anyone know of a good mod friendly dealer in San Diego or around?

Thanks,
John

First off, welcome to the forum.

Unfortunately, talk regarding the removal of emissions equipment will probably result in that section being removed from your post, so don't be surprised when it does happen. You can talk about Spartan, SCT or any other tuner you want, just not in regards to modifying the emissions equipment.

There are a number of good lifts out there, all depends on how much your willing to spend. Rize from what I've heard is a really good one also expensive. OUO has some very nice stuff that I'm currently looking at to addon to my existing Fabtech system.

I have heard Spartan is good. Don't know of anyone that has had any problems with it. It will allow you to run the DPF as well.

I have been pricing the Rize and well just be prepared for the total. It set me back so for right now i'm riding stock till I can save a little more. The 24's look great but really limited to the tires you can choose from. Good luck and keep us updated.
