Nothing. The Torque shift in the 08's has been beefed up from the factory for the 6.4L and can handle the 500RWHP easily. The tranny needs to learn driving styles and needs to be hammered on every few days if not more. Otherwise you might get a little hiccup in shifting, but no damage is being done with the Spartan tunes. Will it shorten the life of the tranny, probally. So far I haven't heard of one rebuild or grenade from the power Spartan is throwing down, or SCT. Heck, the truck Spartan is using has over 100 dyno pulls and driven everyday brutally. They have Suncoast tranny parts waiting to be installed, but haven't needed it yet.
The GM Allisons can't claim that.

I run low 12's all day long with the TorqueShift and our SCT tuning. It's a very tough transmission and can take 500rwhp easy. You'll have no concerns with the trans at all.

Whether SCT or Spartan, you'll be happy with the end result.

To get the high hp tune you have to remove the DOC/DPF. If it goes to the shop without it not only will it void the warranty, but it could be a hefty fine from the EPA. All it takes is a guy having a bad day turn you in. You can always put it back on when it goes in to the shop.

Spartan has just about doubled my MPG!! Hand calculated every tank. I don't trust 1/2 the MPG postings on here. Just cause your dummy guage tells you that you are getting 15 DOES NOT mean you are getting 15!!!

Now imagine un-beleivable throttle, INCREDIBLE POWER, better shifting, lower EGTS....and all that with WAY BETTER economy.
