Superchips to SCT

I was wondering if anyone here has switched from their Superchips Programmer to the SCT Livewire for improved "Performance"

I have an 1808 and want to improve the performance of my truck but have heard of tranny and shift issues with the SCT programming. I was wondering if anyone here had actually made the switch.

Currenly my 1808 has all the power i need on the performance setting and has provided much better shift and power then stock. But i would like to take my truck to the next level and my options as it lies is to keep the 1808 and get a dpf-r or bail on the 1808 and get a Livewire 9625OR. Both options would cost me roughly the same...but the Livewire would leave me with the option of getting the Innovative Extreme Race Tunes down the road if i want additional power.

But as i said, i dont want to make the switch unless the power and shifting is better then what i have now.

I know Spartan is the cats meow...but the difference in cost is more then what i can afford to spend.

I am not interested in racing the beast...only for fun from time to time...but more interested in getting better mileage and better power and shifting and stop wasting fuel.
