Re: STICKY ... COMMON ACRONYMS

I use "TIA", or "Thanks in advance" a lot when I am asking for help or info on a BBS.

Re: STICKY ... COMMON ACRONYMS

It appears some 'brands' are OK too (FTVB, etc) so how about these:

AIH - Air Intake Heater (Smokey commented about this but if used can we add?)

BTS - Brians Truck Service

WW - Wicked Wheel (turbo)

For a trans or oil cooler - OTA is Oil to Air and OTW is Oil to Water heat exchanger

Re: STICKY ... COMMON ACRONYMS

DTRM = diesel thermal recirculation module.

The ever useful DAMHIKT (don't ask me how I know this) is missing.

Re: STICKY ... COMMON ACRONYMS

PMR referrs to "Powdered Metallurgy" rods. They're made by pressing powdered metals together under heat. It's an alternative to forging, but the finished product typically isn't as durable as forging. They tend to break instead of just bend.
