OK I was able to do what Clydesdale said to do, I paid via PayPal, have to wait and see what the shipping is.

Okay, ordered from
http://www.marcorubber.com/orings.htm

if you buy 100 they are .10cents a piece.

below 100 you still are paying 10.00 for whatever # you are buying.

So, I got a 100 coming.

Re: seperator o-ring replacement...my first write up

Well last week I ordered 4 O rings from www.oringsusa.com. That was Tuesday afternoon and I went ahead and just paid the $12 shipping fee or whatever it was. I just wanted the o rings in as soon as possible. I finally got a notice today with a tracking number that I checked online from FedEx. They never even pushed my order out the door until yesterday! Fortunately, I haven't had much of a problem with my leak since I played around with the valve last week. If you are having problems slowing down the drip, try opening and closing the valve a couple of times with the motor running so the system is pressurized. That was the only way I got mine to stop dripping. Anyhow I'm just posting here so those who order from www.oringsusa.com can be aware of just how long it's taking to get my order to me. They are way to slow in my book and if I'd known I might have looked elsewhere, especially considering their crazy shipping fees.

Mine hasn't started to leak yet but just like the spare cps I'm getting prepared. Where'd you find allen wrench style torx bits?

I used a torx bit from a screwdriver and a 1/4" socket to fit it into, although I think Sears and other stores would have something like that already made up. I know you can get socket wrench allen bits.

Re: Fuel Filter/seperator drain o-ring replacement...my first write up

I just received mine for $5.00 & free s&h, from here http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayIS...s_promot_widget
Came in mail quickly in a standard envelope. I had to buy new assy at dealer for $55.00. & install it cause it was leaking so bad. Now I gotta spare with viton "o"rings. Hope the dealer one is updated to last. Changing in a van is the worst!

Re: seperator o-ring replacement...my first write up

Funny this morning when I was doing a visual on my truck while starting I noticed a drip from the fuel drain on the side of the engine. Those orings were supposed to be replaced a couple of weeks ago but must have gotten overlooked as it started dripping a bit this morning. PERFECT this was the first thread I saw.
Thanks for all the info. Great post.
Mike

Re: Fuel Filter/seperator drain o-ring replacement...my first write up

I got mine at the local hydraulic cylinder repair shop, they gave me 6 o rings for nothing.Since these are in contact with oil and other fluids i figured they should be okay.So far so good.Tom

Re: seperator o-ring replacement...my first write up

Mine started leaking recently. I tried to purchase the o-rings from www.oringsusa.com this morning and they wanted $12 in shipping plus a $10 low order fee.

I ordered from Small Parts, Inc. which only charged $4.95 in shipping with no low order fee.

http://www.smallparts.com/products/descriptions/orv.cfm

Thanks for this thread as you guys have again saved us money and time.

Did the same thing. Went thru amazon to get to them. I ordered 25 and gave a bunch away to my friends.

Re: Fuel Filter/seperator drain o-ring replacement...my first write up

I found some locally but had to buy way more than I needed, don't know what to do with the extra. Does anyone know if there is a shelf life on Viton?
