Thanks everyone, I can see I'm going to be spending some time doing some reading so I can go tell the Ford Tech's how to fix my truck........better yet I think I'm just going to learn how to do it myself, unless test equip. becomes the issue. Thanks again.

Dreamcatchertwo: First find a good tech. He/she will most likely be at a dealer who sells lots of diesel super duties and light trucks. Tell him/her the trucks symtoms and he/she will fix your trucks. Hopefully you will meet only infrequently or not at all. Maintain it by the book and beware of "Powerstroke Syndroome". There is no cure!!

Hopefully you can learn from someone like myself. Find a dealership that has service contracts for fleets, like ambulances or such. Took me four years to figure this one out. You usually have to wait for service, but it gets done right the first time. Very important with these trucks.
