2008 F250 4x4 6.4 Front Lift Height vs 2005 6.0 4x4

It seems like the front lift is lower on the 2008 F250 4x4 when compared to the 2005. Am my eyes deceiving me or is there a difference?

i doubt there is a difference. it could be the redesigned front end.

I took measurements, yes a good 3 to 4 inches lower on all areas of the vehicle on 18" or 20" wheels. The entire suspension is different.

Keep your 6.0, it's a better looking truck.

are you measuring from ground up, or from the hub to the lip, or from the axle to the frame? I find it hard to believe the truck is 4" shorter. Especially since they have the same size tires....
the only accurate way to measure that would be axle tube to frame. that would let you know if the springs are the same height.

I have the Heavy Suspension Package on my new 2008.

The 2005 had the 'camper package' that included heavy springs.

All above was straight factory items.

Overall, the 2008 have much less clearance to the road.

Again, unless you are measuring from axle to frame in the front and rear, you are just measuring the differences in body panels. if there was a serious 4" difference in ride height, the two trucks would not come stock with the same rubber under them, nor would the same lift for each truck clear the same tires. Also, if you are that concerned with ride height, measure from the pumpkin of your front axle to the ground on both trucks....
