2011 Pricing Info

Does anyone have any real pricing info on the 2011. I know the prices will not be set in stone, but I would figure pricing to be very similar to the 2011 with the economy still not being so hot. Ford would do better to sell more for a little less than less for a little more. I own a 2008 Job 2 and the new 6 speed sounds tempting as well as some of the other features that have been added since mine was produced.

I would prefer to avoid the "I heard from a friend of a friend the new 6.7 is a 20k option." I realize the new engine and transmission will be expensive, but there have been some wild estimates out there.

Also, does anyone have any preliminary info on the fuel economy of the new truck with the urea injection. I would think that alone would help fuel economy by a mpg or two as well as the higher gearing that can be achieved with the newer transmission and it's lovely addition of another gear.

Thanks for your help.

They haven't even officially published HP and Torque numbers for the Scorpion yet.

I looked at a 2010 KR F350 dually the other day with 6.4 and it stickered at $63K. Start there and go up for a 2011 with the Scorpion. If you do some looking around on CGI machining, you'll find that making the new block is going to cost a lot more due to the fact that the cutting tools only last about 70% as long as the tools for a regular iron block used in the past. Guess who gets to pay for that increased cost.

I'd bet on a 2% to 5% increase over the 2010 models.

hmm, so this is a Ford designed engine, is it being built and assembled by FoMoCo, or subbed out to someone else. Also, does anyone know if they are flogging it like they did the 6.4. My 6.4 is a pretty good engine and the only problem I had was a slight oil leak. Lastly, has Ford said when pricing info might be out? Thanks for the help.
