It comes off pretty easily. Pop off the speaker cover, remove the screw cover plate and screw under the door handle, and a couple of screws at lower edge of panel. Then the panel lifts straight uo about 2 inches and will come clear of door. Unplug harness, and set it aside. Pull back reusable insulation/vapor barrier from door shell in mirror area.
I believe the mirror has four 11mm nuts holding it on.
