I have the Rancho XL 9000 on mine i can adjust them for what ever im hauling or towing. They work very well. When im not towing or hauling i have them set at 3 in the rear and 4 in hte front and it rides better than stock, i also have a 4" lift with 35's

I'd say for the price Skyjacker Nitro shocks are the best quality at that price point. Also they are really easy to find.
But the blistiens are really nice. Blistein is on par with Fox shocks I think. Although you would be surprised most stock trucks have the low end blisteins already on them.
sorry I don't think the new fords have them. But really the ones that come stock pretty much trash, they use a emulsion based shock. You want something that is either Nitro or that can be revalved just for the simple fact that it will have a better ride and in some cases is rebuildable.
the higher end series bilsteins are the ones you wanna look at. Such as...
7100 series remote reservoir shocks
5150s
9100 series
Also nitro shocks can be recharged and nitrogen does not have the same properties as air shocks, so in the winter they won't sag at all. Also they last longer. Stay away from most emulsion shocks, like the 40$ ranchos. The 9000s are good but I think for the money I would go bilstein or fox.
