Calibration - Circle Slowly

Does anyone else get this message? The thing is...I did the calibration circling yesterday and it said "Calibration Complete" and then this morning it wanted me to Calibrate again. Anyone know how to clear this message or make it stick once the action is completed?

yeah it keeps doing it while I drive too. Then after awhile it goes away. Then when I start up again and start driving it comes back. Anyone know how to permanently rectify this? I am thinking it may have somethng to do with the Nav system? Or the trucks compass system??

Lightbulb

I think it is part of the direction ie N, NE, E, SE, S SW etc... Travel in a slow circle in a big parking lot and it should go away.

I just went through this, 3 trips to the dealer for reprogramming then Ford sent them a new rear view mirror which is where the compass is located, and that fixed it. Hopes this helps.

heh, it's the compass that has lost it's way...pita.
It might be magnatized if so the dealer has to demagnatize it.

sounds like a computer glich maybe. So yeah a trip to the dlr is in order. Just wondering why the compass is located in the mirror as Ford changed Fireboss's mirror. My direction display is in the same place that my message display is on the dash.

Thats what I thought, display in the dash and the compass in the mirror/video display? , even my dealer had to call ford and ask, but it sure fixed the problem. Next project, connect the rear camera video image to one of the upfitter switches and a relay to transfer video from the rear of my fifth wheel.
