Something weird happened this am. Started up the truck and the message center did not light up, neither did the ac display or stereo display. As I backed out of the drive, the message center did light up, but nothing on the ac/stereo (the stereo was playing). Five miles down the road, the lights for the stereo and ac finally came on.
Any thoughts? Bought the truck in July and have about 3500 miles on it and this is the first time this has happened.
My driver's power seat controls failed. Also, the driver's seat memory controls failed.
The truck has only 2,200 miles on the odometer.
I don't need this $hit right now!
Are you kidding? How many times are you going to post and cry about the same problem? Once was sufficient. BTW, did you check the fuse? And watch your language, there are Woman present.

Give the guy a break... he only posted three times in thirteen minutes about the same problem.

Sorry.
No fuse, but according to the manual, all of that stuff (the power mirrors, the driver's seat, the adjustable pedals, and the memory control feature) is all collectively tied into sharing a single relay, which is located in the fuse panel under the hood. I really don't want to swap relays, and take the chance of having another one burn out again, and then perhaps create another problem. So, I'm going to wait until Monday, when hopefully the dealership's svc. department can quickly diagnose the problem as that. I'm just really hoping that it's nothing major.

It's only fair that if I bring up an problematic issue with my truck, that I also provide the solution. It wouldn't be right for me to just jump on TDS and then ***** and moan about my Ford product, and then not follow up with a statement of resolve.
My truck is fine now.
PROBLEM SOLVED.
No signal was being received from the driver's seat module - located under the seat. The driver's seat was removed to allow access to the module. From the factory, the module's harness was not fully engaged. From that point it was probably knocked completely loose at the car wash while they were vacuuming under the seat.
Once again, a happy owner as usual.
