crappy paint

well the girl went in for a rad and the roof is getting repainted as well as the quarter panel is starting to crack like it has bondo. anyone here of that?

mine didnt crack, but almost the entire truck was repaited due to mismatched colors and thin non painted panels

i remeber that as of now all there doing is repainting the roof bc the flaws in the box didnt come out till about a week ago. The fuel milage with this truck has been awsome compared to the dodges and the other fords out here. but the paint is terribel.

I have yet to see an 08 that did not have some 'orangepeel' to the finish. They just are not painting the best finish possible these days as they churn them out and try to meet EPA regs.

My F-350 is getting a complete re-paint this week due to the factory paint job was incomplete. The whole bottom of the truck was thin in color and around all the hinges, corners and pockets were missed with the color. Pretty bad when you can see the primer through the color almost everywhere.
