Creaking/Ratcheting Noise From Wipers.

I have this noise when my wipers on my 2008 F-350 are on. I lubricated everything under the plastic hood cowl, checked bolts, and all seemes well. I removed the little tit on the serrated wiper actuator shaft (where the wiper actually attaches) because it sounded like it creaks from there. It worked for a while, but is back at it. It drives me nuts on a rainy day. Sometimes after the wipers run a while, it goes away. I though I'd find a rusty ball joint in the actuators, or something, but nothing. There is more noise resonating inide the cab than outside the truck. Any ideas?

+1, drives me crazy. Chalk it up to poor design.
