Cruse Control

I just picked up my new 98 F-450 last week and have noticed that the cruse control doesn't like to resume until my speed reaches around 60 mph. Am I missing something or am I ready for my first repair?

Depends on what your cruise was originally set to. You have to be within a certain range of your set speed before it will resume. Example cruise set to 65 you slow down to 35 it will not resume back to 65 until you are going much closer to 65. My guess is normal operation unless you have to be with 5 to resume.

What I find annoying is that when it does finally resume it floors it to the point it usually shoots past what you had your cruise set at before settling back down.
