Cup holders??!!

Took a screwin' on the new truck. No cupholders except for those in the console because of the stick shift. Shifting with that thing folded down is just plain annoying. Stopped by the local truck equipment store- nothing. Anyone out there know where I can find a vast variety of aftermarket cup holders?

I bought this one. It attaches to the center seat belt. I have the straight bench seat with no armrest so this worked out great. Deluxe Bench Seat Console for Full-Size Pick-Ups

Is yours a stick shift? What you are suggesting seems like replacing one headache with another.

No, mine is an auto. The console doesn't hang past the edge of the seat, I guess it's possible that it could intefere with your arm a little during shifting but it won't hit the shift lever. Just a thought.

Center Console with Manual Trans.

Hey Torino,
CUP HOLDERS can happen, look at the photo under my User Name.
You can buy a center console on eBay like I did and replace the friggin'
Jump Seat on the 40/2040. It took me like about 2+ hours and even was able to move the new console back about an inch to where the hand shaker won't interfere with the cup holders! FORD said that it couldn't be done and couldn't be ordered that way with my cab and chassis, well I made the conversion, it's in and I'm a happy guy!

I hated bumping my right elbow on the Jump seat in the down positon all the time. This for me works out way better. The only thing you don't get is the arm rest(s) like on the Captians chairs.

If need be, Shoot me an email and I'll give you the step by step procedure on how you can make the conversion once you get the new console.
Hang in there fello hand shaker, it can happen!

Here's the bonus, the new console on eBay (if you are patient) cost me like $200 bucks. I then threw my Jump seat back on eBay and got over $300 for it!
So, the conversion just might pay for itself in the end!

Cheers from Ski Country Colorado,
Leo
