Door Panel Removal...

I have not been able to locate any pictures for the removal of the driver or passenger door panels for the 2008 Super Duty.

Has anyone done this?

I have removed the electric window/door lock panel and can find one bolt that goes into the door handle.

Even with that bolt out it is not possilbe to pull up on the panel given the huge metal bracket from the door itself that blocks the panel from moving up; this is the bracket the bolt goes into.

I have not been successful at removing the arm rest pad. I assume there is another bolt on that side that must be removed but I really don't like forcing things when I am not positive that I am doing the right thing.

Any/all help greatly appreciated....

Jim

the piece on the door panel with all the window switches and locks pops out, then there should be a bolt under in there.

Yes, I mentioned that in my post. That is only one bolt.

I suspect that there may well be others. Are you saying that there is only ONE bolt and that is it?

If yes, how do your remove the panel after the bolt is removed?

It is not possible to pull the panel up due to the position of the bracket attached to the door that the bolt goes through.

There is a couple of screws under the plastic cover below the door handle, and two more on the bottom edge. Once removed, I just pull stright up and comes right off. You need to remove the sail also, but it pulls straight out, no screws there.
