Dually fenders rubbing the bed sides raw

Dang it, the big plastic dually fenders are wearing away the paint on the steel sides of the bed. I thought at first I did not wipe off the wax well enough when I saw white along the seam. Nope, not wax. It is rubbed away paint showing primer or something. I washed the truck to ensure all dirt was gone and pushed down a bit on the fenders and they appear to be "loose" with quite a bit of movement allowed. Will have to schedule an appointment at the dealer to have it corrected. Anybody else having the problem? Is it due to the fenders not being fastened properly? Also going in to have the latest flash updated. I have had the engine in Regen twice now, and brake application did not retard the RPMs, plus a cold morning romp last winter, plus the slam back in the seat effect when "resume" is selected on the cruise control.

I too have had the fender issue. I have had it back to have repainted once. less than 3000 miles later, it was doing it again. I am in the process of taking it back to the dealer for a third time. I can't wait to see what fix they come up with. I was told it was just more noticable in dark colors, but I have a hard time believing there is not a problem with the fenders. My 2003 F-350 did not have the issue.

I haven't noticed this on mine, but I will be sure to have a closer look now!

I haven't noticed anything on my dually fenders BUT, I noticed today that my passenger side fender flare is pulling away from the fender and the paint is chipping at the edge along the fender. Has anyone else had these issues and if so, what did Ford do to remedy the situation??
