F550 model?

Just wondering if ordering a F550 c/c is it possible to get it in the King Ranch version? I might be looking into one next fall after some of the bugs are worked out of the new ones. Also, if I were to put a flatbed on it could you still get it with the back up camera option and then have it mounted somehow in the rear of the flatbed or would I have to go with some after market unit? Thanks. Aaron

I don't believe that is an option. I would have liked to get an FX4 in a 450 cab/chassis, just for the grill and painted bumper, but no. XL, XLT, Lariat are the only options, I think.

King Ranch not available in chassis cabs. The fanciest available on CrewCabs and SuperCabs is Lariat with Lariat Plus pkg. The fanciest available on regular cabs is XLT with XLT Convenience pkg.

Backup camera is available only on pickups with a back bumper and tailgate. Chassis cabs don't have a back bumper and tailgate from the factory.

However, when you order the truck, you can also order a bed or body to be added by a ship-thru upfitter. Some upfitters can add anything you can dream up - for a price. See the sticky thread about tow bodies for chassis cabs in the Towing & Hauling forum.

Oh darn no KR. Oh well I guess I'll just have to live with the Lariat. Thanks so much. Aaron
