Gauge Cluster question - Diesel Forum

I'm wondering if there is a way to clear the message above the odometer that reads Miles to E? Is there a way to do it from the gauge buttons on the right?

Reset then Info makes the gas pump smaller (puts it to the right) and displays all the standard Message Center info.

Just an opinion and not a rant: Please read your owners manual, front to back. Folks will read how to operate their dishwasher but won't read thier owners manual. I am at a loss here. There is alot of good info in there. Like how to set the clock, How to set your favorite music stations. Answer you question? Read your book. Please!! You will learn alot.

737tdi, dude for your info the data given in MY OWNERS MANUAL does not seem to be working! Didn't ask anything about radio stations or clock did I? If you don't like my question than don't reply stating about reading your owners manual first before jumping in feet first which you have no idea if I read it or not. That's my opinion not a rant!!

Sometimes manuals aren't written very well. Manuals for vehicles are notoriously difficult to read because they come with caveats (e.g., "if so equipped"). It's not surprising to me that the instructions don't seem to work for you, but then on the other hand, if you did indeed read the directions and followed them step by step, I'd bet you it would work.
