Help me convice my Dad to buy an '08

My Dad wants to trade up and I'm trying to talk him into an '08 F350 Powerstroke.
He has an '06 powerstroke that has been a good truck. I drive an '08 powerstroke and he likes it. He also drives a Dodge cummins daily for work.It has been good too. He is trying to decide on a new Ford or a new Dodge. To me there is no comparison but I am a die hard Ford man.
How is the Dodge for fuel economy? Is it that much better than the Fords? Are there any issues they are having? Cummins makes a great motor but to me thats where it ends with Dodge. The rest of the truck is cheap.
Ford has had a couple issues but has been pretty good so far. The whole package is a better truck.
I don't know, maybe I'm wrong but I really think that Ford is the way to go. What do you think?

I have had my truck for over 1 month now. When I went looking for a truck I was open to all possibilities, but for what I wanted - a truck that could tow my 6500lbs (empty) camper on trips anywhere I wanted to go, and not make me worry about power, there was absolutely no question that the Ford Super Duty was superior.

I am not about to say that Dodge and GM do not make a nice truck, they do, but they do not have the tow features that Ford provides
