How the heck to test tire pressure.

I have a very hard time checking the air pressure on the rear inside tires of my F450. the valve stem is at such a strange angel that I can not keep the gauge on it strait. I use a gauge like the one pictured. Is there a special type of gauge for this???

I had the same problem when I bought my truck. I put valve extenders on the inside valves. My next move is to "camping world" for the braided lines that attach to the inside valve and "clip" on to the outside rim. You might be able to find them somewhere else.

I use the air chuck from Harbor Freight that has that end on it with a guage.
It's still a pain. I reach my hand inbetween the tires to get it pushed on there good enough to get a decent reading.

Look at a large truck stop like Loves they should have a truck gauge with a end that you push straight in to the valve on the inside wheel. It looks like your gauge but with a straight end going in and a angle end when you are pulling on it for the outside wheel. Mine is all chrome and I think I got it at Loves in Quartzsite, Az. about $20.00 I Think.

Hope this will help you.

This is how I am doing it now and I am tired of getting big hand through the space between the 2 tires.

Thanks

Picked this up today. I'll give it a try when the temp outside goes down a little below 110 deg.
