How to prepare a truck to operate in freezing conditions

I'm close to Detroit. Never had any problem with the fuel gelling. As to the wind and parking at night, I don't think it effects the trucks. They are not organic, so not effected by wind chill. Could be wrong, if so others will post.

All that a wind chill will do is bring the temperature of the engine down to ambient sooner. This can have an effect in very cold weather as the engine does not retain heat as long. There are times when I can sit in traffic and watch the temp gauge go down.
