Looking to buy a 2008

Looking at buying a 2008 and had a few questions. The truck I'm looking at must be:
F350 SRW
4x4
Lariat
Crew Cab
Shortbed
Powerstroke

Looking for a new one that has been sitting on the lot. Was wondering what I would expect to pay for such a truck.

I am in the process of trying to pick up a used from a ford auction but in my search my dealer found this in Alabama (see attachement). It is an FX4 but should give you an idea for ballpark. He said we would be in the low 30s. There were really nice incentives from Ford on the 08s.

You are looking at invoice price or maybe a couple hundred lower minus what ever rebates ford is giving. Just make sure you check how many hours are on the truck. You are looking for low miles but high hours. This will tell you that the dealer did the lot rot procedure (i.e. idle for 20min each month and so on). Mine was only on the lot for 10 months but it had 50miles and 23 (or 25) hours. In some parts of the country they are giving great deals and not so great on other parts of the country. For you i would look down in WV, Maryland and so on. There are none in PA or NY. Do not go to your local dealer, actually go to the dealer that has it and drive it back. To answer your question mine was stickered at $54k and i paid $39 in cash out the door. Not a great deal but it was a fully loaded FX4 that was exactly what i was looking for and was only a 2hr drive away. Good luck, if i had to do it again i would in a heart beat.
