I am coming here for help because I can not find the truck she wants on the internet (ford.com, cars.com, vehix.com, ebay, autotrader.com, google). Here is what she is looking for:
F250/350
Regular Cab, Long Bed XLT
Any color but white
5.4 or 6.4 and Manual Transmission
4x4
Off-Road Package
18" Alloy Rims
Advanced Security Group
Sliding Rear Window
Anti-Theft Ignition
Fog Lamps
Power Seats
Tow Mirrors
Clearance Lights
Trailer Brake
Upfitter Switches
Nothing less, but other options are possible. If you know of a truck like this on a lot near you, please let me know. Thanks in advance.

Goto the dealer, talk to the fleet manager and have it ordered. That way she gets exactly what she wants and you don't have to worry some joker was test driving and treating it like **** before you got it.

I could do that, but I find that I can get a much lower price if it is already on the lot. Ordering also puts the incentives on a tilt because you do not know what they will be when it comes in. So for now I am just hunting around.

I've never really had luck with a vehicle on the lot, I've always gotten my best deals by ordering it. Another thing you can try is goto the dealer, tell them what you want and they can check all the other dealers and have it shipped to you or you could goto the dealer that has that vehicle. That's what my brother did when he got his.

We always go to a dealer, tell them what we want and they do a search and find the possible color choices with options. Then we work the deal and have them bring it back to the dealer for us.

I gave up on the major 3 U.S. brands, as I can not find a truck that matches what we want. What we did find was a Nissan Frontier. It is the NISMO Off-Road with a V6 and 6spd. It has exactly what she was looking for, meets my specs, and even with the warranty got a lot more bang for our buck than any other vehicle we looked at. After 4 months of searching...I can finally rest
