Low Sulfur Diesel

Does anybody know if #2 (red) could cause problems with the 6.4 ?

Just wondering.

Only problem it will cause is if you get caught using it. Red diesel is for off road use only meaning it has not been taxed for on road use, that is why it's died red. If you are stopped and caught, which you may be, the police and customs people can fine you very heavilly and they can take away your truck. Some say long term use could cause serious damage to some engines, I'm not sure if thats true. Also traces of the colour lasts a long time even if you see sense and go back to clear/greenish (taxed) diesel. Is it worth it ? No if you ask me.

Just to reference your OTHER POST if you were running red fuel and the dealer finds out about it when they tear into the engine then by by warranty.

How does that make sense? If your diesel isn't a specific color, then you get fined? What about the people that make their own diesel?

Anything you do to the truck can technically void your warranty.
Programers, lift kits, exhausts, ect... It depends on your dealer. If they want to start the void process they will. It's not in their best interest to do so because they will lose a customer.
When they work on your truck THEY GET PAID FROM FORD TO DO SO.

No, the dye they use in red diesel is universal. Thats what they are looking for.
