MPH gauge jump??

Does anyone else's MPH gauge jump as you are slowly accelerating? Rather than smoothly climbing as I accelerate, I just noticed my gauge jumps up in speed. Like this; if I go from 20 to 25, it will jump to 22, then jump to 25.

Now if I give it heavy throttle, it rises smoothly I just noticed this. Has anyone else experienced this, or is my gauge ready to die??

I've noticed something like that at times. It doesn't go up smoothly. Mostly happens during slow acceleration. Its like it reads the speed every other second and updates the gauge.

My 2008 F-250's speedo has done this since I bought it new. I took it to the dealer after just one week to have it fixed. They did acknowledge the problem, but once they explained how they'd have to fix it (remove the entire instrument cluser), I opted out and decided to live with it. 15,000 miles later, it still does it.

so I take it that it is a problem then. It seems like several of us are having the same issue though??

my 06' has had issues with the tach sticking on and off for awhile. Just today the speedometer is tweaking! How long have they been making trucks?!!! Not looking forward in replacing the cluster
