Navigation Volume Issue?

Is anyone else having an issue with the volume of the directions voice on their navigation system? It seems like every time I go to use my navigation system... I have to readjust the volume of the voice. It default back to very low after every use? I can't figure it out?

Have you tried to turn down the radio in the background when the navigation system is "talking"? That will actually turn down the nav volume. I noticed i was doing it subcontiously.

Send a message via AIM to Jerryc
There is a volume control specifically for the navigation voice buried in the system set up options. Once the nav voice volume is properly set, the front radio speakers are attenuated when the nav voice speaks. If you are trying to adjust it with the radio volume control you will go nuts.

Have you tried adjusting it via the INFO function when the radio is selected? On my X5 there is a feature that allows you to set the NAV voice relative to the radio volume. Cannot remember what it is called but it appears as an option when you press INFO with the radio playing and the NAV active.
