noob grill question

so i am supposed to take delivery next month some time for my f350 and have a question.

i am looking for a radiator protector like you can get on motorcycles. i am looking for a mesh type one that doesn't impede airflow, but is fine enough to keep bugs and rocks from striking it. does this exist for a truck?

No. Anything that will stop bugs will also severely restrict airflow into the front of the grill and through the several heat exchangers in the front of the truck: Radiator, intercooler, tranny cooler, power steering/hydroboost cooler, and air conditioner condensor.

It will probably be okay in the wintertime, but in the summertime you want all the airflow you can get through those heat exchangers - especially if you have an automatic tranny and work the truck hard.
