Thumbs up Pictures of your lariats and fx4's.

Ready to buy a 08 and I cant decide between the lariat and the fx4. Like the options on the lariat but I really like the looks of the leather interior on the fx4. Fords super duty brochure doesn't show the pictures in the colors i'm looking for. So if anyone has any pictures of there lariat or fx4 with or without the chrome package I would really appreciate it. It will help placing my order a lot.

Mine has the Chrome Package.

I was going through the same debate myself. I ended up going with the Lariat because I couldn't get some of the options I wanted on the FX.

Hit all the lots around you and see what fits you best.

MDarrough: Nice Truck!! and 5th. Off topic sorry, is that a 2008 Jayco 299RLTS, Reason I ask is I'm trying to decide between the 313RKS or the 291RLS and I have to make up my mind soon. (I just picked up my F350 in black). What is the payload capacity of your truck and how does it pull the 5th.

What made the choice for me.... you can order a fx4 with black interior.... black plastics too.... the dash and door panels.... because the grey this year is horriable... looks tan! The black is AWESOME!

Went through the same debate. For me the grey and tan interiors just don't do it. I gave up some options going with the FX4 but worth it in my mind to get the black.

I agree, the black interior is the way to go. I found mine and fell in love, didn't think the wife would like it, but the first time she saw it, she said it looked great.

I didn't realize my link was not working when I posted this. I have now corrected it and you can see my pics. Living in south Louisiana I couldn't go with black, too hot in the summer. And besides I also didn't want a 4x4, so the FX was out.

Someone younger may go for the FX4, where someone older will probably opt for the Lariat, and the extra interior ammenities.
Personally I like the classy looking Camel interior and the chrome.

Cattle kid your truck is real purty. I would never buy red for myself, but it looks great on these super dutys. Love the rims too.

Thanks for the compliments mattmeyer05 this is the first red truck I've owned (I'll admit it's a little LOUD), my Dad and I did a ground up restoration on a candy apple red 1953 Ford F-100 about 15 years ago but my name wasn't ever offically on that truck, my 2003 and 1997 powerstrokes were both black and I wanted something different, guess I definitely got something different
