possible tire sizes

I have a completely stock 08 F250 4x4. Looking into the possibility of purchasing new set of wheels 18x10. What would be the best fit for an A/T tire on that wheel spec without lift.

I was told by tireshop that with a 18x10 wheel I could run 325/65/18's with no problem stock. I have heard that to run that size would require a lvl kit at least. Anyone have any experience with this?

What I am most interested in at this point is whether or not a 325/65/18 tire will work without rubbing on an aftermarket 18x10 wheel?

Probably no legitimate tire shop will mount that tire on 18"x8" rims - unless you happen to catch them when the villiage idiot is on duty. To much chance that the customer will be involved in an accident and then sue them for a million smackers for mounting a tire that's too wide for their rims.

It's over 13" wide and about the same diameter as most other 35" tires. The biggest tire Ford offers for your truck is 11" wide and 34.1" diameter. So the diameter might work, but the tire is probably too wide to fit without rubbing.
Not trying to step on any toes or be a smarta** but your not reading my question. I stated that it would be on 18x10 rims (wheels) several times.

You're right. I kept reading stock-size 18x8" wheels.

I don't know if they'll rub, but I bet they will.

Tire size

To run 325/65/18 tires you need to have a level kit. I know from experience. That is what I am running. I tried the tires with the truck stock, they rubbed when turning. The right front still rubbed slightly with the leveling kit, but was easily taken care of with minor trimming of the inner wheel well at the back.

on my old 2008 i ran 35x12.5 R18 toyo mts on my stock wheels and they worked awesome. I also ran them without my lift for about 3000 miles with no rubbing except on my mud flaps which i had to chain back. Then once i put my 6 inch lift in their was no problems at all.

325/65/18 = 34.6x12.8x18
could work w/out level. might be a nice surprise if they fit.

I am running a 33 x 12.5 x 16 goodyear MTR on my completely stock F350 and they do not rub anywhere. I have never made contact through the wheel travel either.
