Power options under the dash

What are you guys doing for your accessory power sources under the dash of these '08s? I do have the upfitters switches.... but that is not the route I want to go. I don't really want to do the little clip thingy that you put around a prong of a fuse either.... because it looks cheap. And tapping wires is out of the question! Do they give us any options off the fuse block?

I need a power source that is powered when the ignition is on.

no one has added anything to their trucks.... there has to be a clean answer to this question.

I just picked up mine last Friday and have the same question but I'm still trying to figure out how to access the wires under the dash!?! Not sure how the panels come off especially under the steering wheel. I need the ignition wire plus a power source.

What works for me is to peel back about 3/4" of the wire casing, solder my new wire to it and then wrap it up with electrial tape.

The ignition wire is white/orange (+) and the 12V constant is blue/red (+). They're located in a bundle that goes up to the ignition key and are easy to see and get at. Once I figured out that the panels pop off easy like the previous PSD ,it was a piece of cake doing my hookups today.

Here's a link to finding the wire colour codes and what they do Direct Wholesale. Click on Installation Diagrams at the top of the page then proceed from there.
