power slider - Diesel Forum

has anyone upgraded to a power rear slider from a manual one in an 08? i have an 08 lariat with a manual slider and would love the power option.

Bought one from CL Lawrence, had a local glass shop hang the glass and finished the install myself. Was pretty easy and looks good, weather and sound resisitant too. I used the wiring from the factory harness and was done

was the wiring already there? what did you use for the switch? was it expensive? thanks!

I don't know if the wiring is there or not and I don't know how much it is as I haven't tried it yet. I'm hoping to do it before spring. If you do it can you let us know how it went?
