Question for Anyone W/Heavy Duty Service Suspension

I found a good deal on a F250/CC, 6.4, but its has the Heavy Duty Service Suspension, How bad does it effect the ride and heigth. Ford info states its heavier spring in the front and it raises vehicle and stiffens ride. Also is it just a helper leaf on bottom that can be removed or is it an entirly different spring. I like the ride of the truck and don't care for a rough riding truck.

The Heavy Service Suspension Package adds heavier front springs and auxiliary rear springs. The heavier front springs are for things like winches and brush guards. The rear aux spring is actually an extra spring on top of the leaf pack. It doesn't come into play until you really load up the bed or a heavy trailer tongue. It helps to stableize the load.

I came from a 2007 Harley with no Heavy Service option to a 2008 FX4 that has it, and I love the extra firmness. I don't think the ride is any harsher, but I mainly notice the truck doesn't sway as much as my old 2007 Harley.

Hope this helps!

Thanks, I placed order for truck today, I will be putting a winch of front so the springs may help, although the winch has never made a difference before.
